Visitors will have the opportunity to see the spectacular woodland carpets of snowdrops and watch spring slowly unfurl from winter.
Surrounding the house itself are five acres of formal gardens, landscaped in the 1820s. Beyond the North Lawn and over the stream, you’ll find the 12 acre Horsepasture Wood.
As a spring visitor, it’s here that you’ll experience a stunning carpet of Snowdrop blooms during February and March.
Every day the Tea Room, Plant Sale and Gift Shop are open. The heated marquee Tea Room serves luxury cream teas under canvas, hot soups, pie and peas plus locally made yummy treats. They also serve hot drinks and snacks including soup and bacon butties from the Woodland Café.
